About me

My Why:

My path to medicine wasn't just a career choice but a deeply personal calling. Growing up in a family affected by diabetes, I witnessed firsthand the impact this condition can have on both individuals and their loved ones. This personal experience, combined with my awareness of the growing diabetes epidemic, inspired me to dedicate my career to endocrinology and help others facing similar challenges. My background in engineering and analytical thinking proved to be a natural fit for endocrinology, where intricate feedback loops mirror the engineering principles I studied. The intricate hormonal pathways in endocrinology align perfectly with my systematic approach to problem-solving, allowing me to combine my technical mindset with my passion for patient care.

My Expertise:

As a board-certified endocrinologist, I provide comprehensive care for adults 18 and older. My extensive expertise encompasses diabetes management and prevention, thyroid disorders, pituitary and adrenal conditions, and parathyroid disorders. I also specialize in treating polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), osteoporosis, and other calcium and metabolic bone disorders, offering my patients the full spectrum of endocrine care. My comprehensive approach ensures that each patient receives individualized attention and expert care for their specific endocrine needs.

My Philosophy:

I believe in empowering my patients to actively participate in their health journey. As a physician, I partner with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan incorporating comprehensive education, lifestyle modifications, preventive care strategies and medical therapy when indicated. I understand that lasting health improvements come through a collaborative approach built on mutual trust. My approach to shared medical decision-making is focused on meeting patients where they are, rather than forcing them to fit into a predetermined mold. I work to create treatment plans that integrate seamlessly into their daily lives, ensuring that endocrine conditions become manageable aspects of their lives rather than defining factors. This patient-centered approach allows me to build lasting relationships with my patients while helping them achieve optimal health outcomes. For me, success isn't just measured in clinical outcomes—it's found in the moments when patients achieve their health goals and confidently reclaim control of their health journey.
