My Why
Personal Motivation
My path to medicine wasn't just a career choice but a deeply personal calling. Growing up in a family affected by diabetes, I witnessed firsthand the impact this condition can have on both individuals and their loved ones. This personal experience, combined with my awareness of the growing diabetes epidemic, inspired me to dedicate my career to endocrinology and help others facing similar challenges.
Expertise
As a board-certified endocrinologist, I provide comprehensive care for adults 18 and older. My extensive expertise encompasses diabetes management and prevention, thyroid disorders, pituitary and adrenal conditions, and parathyroid disorders. She also specializes in treating polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), osteoporosis, and other metabolic bone disorders, offering her patients the full spectrum of endocrine care.
My commitment to general endocrinology is at the heart of my practice, particularly diabetes management and hormonal disorders. I bring specialized knowledge to treating thyroid, adrenal, pituitary gland disorders, PCOS, and calcium and bone disorders. My comprehensive approach ensures that each patient receives individualized attention and expert care for their specific endocrine needs.
Partnership and Patient Empowerment
I believe in empowering my patients to actively participate in their health journey. As a physician and educator, I partner with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans incorporating comprehensive education, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care strategies. I understand that lasting health improvements come through collaborative care and patient engagement. For me, success isn't just measured in clinical outcomes—it's found in the moments when patients achieve their health goals and reclaim control of their well-being. This patient-centered approach allows me to build lasting relationships with those under my care while helping them achieve optimal health outcomes.
I am now welcoming patients at the CMoC Kenwood location. I look forward to continuing to provide exceptional endocrine care to the community.
